Fredrik Tønnesen was appointed Chief Executive Officer for Elkjøp Nordic in March 2023, coming from the position as Chief Commercial Officer f Tønnesen first joined Elkjøp in 2006 and has held a number of sales and operations management positions within the company. Prior to his current role, Tønnesen was COO at Elkjøp Nordic and Chain Manager / Managing Director at Elkjøp Norway. Tønnesen holds a bachelor’s degree in Management from the Norwegian School of Management(BI).
Linda Frid Andresen was appointed as Chain Manager for Elkjøp Norway in November 2022, coming from the position as COO at Vinmonopolet. She has over 20 years of experience from Norwegian retail. At Vinmonopolet, she has, among other things, been responsible for the operations and strategic development of 350 stores, online shopping and supply of goods. Before that, she has led and developed both own chains and franchises as CEO of Fargerike and ARK bookstores.
As Managing Director for Elgiganten AB, Niclas Eriksson is responsible for all commercial activities in Sweden. He was promoted to the position in 2012, having previously held the role of Operations Manager in Sweden. Eriksson first joined the company in 1995 and has held several key positions within sales and retail management. Eriksson holds a degree in Engineering from the Norrköping Institute of Technology.
Andy has led technology and digital capabilities for over 20 years inside some of the world's most respected and innovative organisations. He has held executive positions within public and private businesses across America, Asia and Europe, and is always focused on realising value through the appropriate implementation and use of technology. Andy has a proven track record of delivering results from concept to conclusion, with an ability to quickly understand true business requirement, unify teams and drive broad digital transformation agendas. Prior to his current role at Currys he has been the CIO for technology innovation brand Dyson, FTSE250 listed manufacturer Essentra and global consumer giant Sony.
Thomas Hegerlund was appointed Chief Operating Officer for Elkjøp Nordic in March 2023. Hegerlund has an extensive Elkjøp background, working in the company since 1997. He has held several management positions both in Elkjøp Norway and Elkjøp Nordic. Some of his previous positions has been Store Manager, Sales Manager, Sales Director and Category Director. Prior to COO, he was Category Director for our biggest category Computing/Gaming.
Lill Beate Pedersen is responsible for the Nordic finance function, which includes accounting and reporting, business analysis, performance management, business controlling, tax and treasury. She joined Elkjøp Nordic in 2020 from Atea, bringing with her 20 years of experience in finance management and business development from several industries in Norway and internationally. Pedersen holds a Master’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Stein Riibe is responsible for human resources, PR & communications, compliance and legal activities. He joined Elkjøp in 2014 and has more than 20 years of experience in HR and organisational development from a wide range of industries, including oil services, healthcare and facility services. Riibe holds a law degree from the University of Oslo.
The Chain Manager of Gigantti, Niko Sandström, brings with him a rich history of service to the company, spanning several years and various pivotal roles. His journey with Gigantti commenced in 1999, where he embarked on his career in sales at the very first Gigantti store in Finland, located in Vantaa Tammisto. He quickly rose through the ranks, taking on the role of Store Manager in 2002. Throughout his tenure within the Gigantti organization, Sandström has consistently demonstrated his expertise and leadership capabilities. Over the years, he has made significant contributions to the company's development, particularly within marketing and sales. In 2019, Sandström assumed the position of Sales Director, a role he held until his recent appointment as CEO in 2023. His experience and unwavering commitment to Gigantti has not only solidified his standing within the company, but also made him the natural candidate to lead Gigantti into its next phase of growth and success.
As Managing Director for Elgiganten AS, Peder Stedal heads all commercial operations in Denmark. Stedal first joined the group in 1996 and has held a number of positions within retail operations and commercial, both in Denmark and other European countries, including Italy, Czech Republic, Hungary and Poland. Stedal was appointed to his current position in 2012.
Morten Syversen was promoted to the position of Chief Brand & Digital Officer in 2019. He has overall responsibility for brand and marketing, including digital, insight & analytics and e-commerce activities. Syversen joined the company in 1998 and has held a number of commercial positions within the organisation at both the Nordic level and internationally. Prior to his current role, Syversen was Nordic Category Director for Computing since 2012. He holds an MSc degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Norwegian School of Management (BI).
Hans Trolläng Started his Elkjøp career back in January 2001 and has since then held various positions in both Elgiganten Sweden and Elkjøp Nordic. Prior to being appointed Chief Commercial Officer in March 2023, he held the position as Nordic Category Director for Telecom for the past 17 years. Hans has a Bachelor Degree in Economics from IHM Business School.
